Outskirts of Amegakure

Taven was exhausted from his long journey and severe use of chakra. He felt drained of all strength and he sat down, he felt the gentle rain on his back as he took off his sand clothes. The rain felt so good on his bare chest and face. He loved this weather but feeling it made him long to return to his beloved desert. Taven looked around for a suitable place to lay down in peace before he began his adventure in the junk piles to find some shinobi wire, metal tips from perhaps a spear, and something to hold wood together tightly.

Taven moved some junk around trying to find whta he was searching for. He seemed to be having no luck in his efforts though. He wondered how long this could really take and then he half considered doing a jutsu to lift the junk intot he air. He thought this might look like an assault to the village though and was quick to dismiss the idea. Besides his fan was holding the wood Taven needed to work with to make the puppet. Taven sat down again unsure of what to do.

Taven dug some more and he found the wire he was looking for! He was extatic at his discovery of this wonderful wire that could stretch but was also very strong. Taven also found the perfect tip he was to use for the end of the coil. Finally he took some scrap metal pieces and then decided he would need someone's advice on how to make the puppet stay together. But who should he ask? This puzzled and annoyed Taven to a large extent.

(Snake puppet - Left Hand)

Taven focused on making his puppet. He molded the wood in the appropriate way using wind and the rain. Taven made the tail with hollowed out circlets and wire strung between each. Taven made the entire body like this. He made the mouth in a peculiar way he left a slot for needles to be shot out from. He then made the mouth like a latch and held on to the body. Taven spread chakra strings to the puppet.

As the chakra strings hooked onto the head, tail and midsection Taven lifted it and he watched it move fluidly. He jerked it to the right and it moved quickly. Taven pulled his left pointer finger back from the puppet the puppet spreads apart showing its huge extension. Taven pulls his left pinky and the snake's tail makes a clink sound as a blade slides out of the hidden notch in the tail.

Taven then pulls his left middle finger back and the jaw opens on the puppet. Taven was glad this had worked well so far. He was happy to have made a success of the simple jutsu. Taven finally pulled his ring finger and watched as the jaws of the snake snapped onto spare wood and it squeezed hard piercing the wood with the jaws. Taven was very excited to see this feature of the puppet. Taven finally pulled his thumb back and he heard the tail rattle as a clear distraction, at a later date and time it will be used to spread poisons.

Taven saw he had finished his training for now, he wanted to go back to Sunagakure to see his beloved desert once again. Taven gathered his puppet and his fan. He set his fan across his waist and he wrapped his puppet in cloth and put it on his back. It looked like Taven would be carrying a large scroll and a fan. Nothing out of the ordinary in the shinobi world. Taven rushed towards the Konoha forests, eager to pass through them to get to Sunagakure.
