Jin's training {CJ}

It was quite early in the morning, the sun barely rising over the trees. Jin casually strolled in a secluded area, surrounding by a thick forest, with a large waterfall on the nearby cliffs. the river below the waterfall was rapidly flowing, making a loud gushing sound, hitting against countless rocks, that stuck out of the water. the air was quite humid, filled with water vapour all around, it made slight mists here and there.
all of Jin's clothes were black, he had a normal pants, bandaged at the end down to his ninja sandal, and on his forearm, up to his wrist band. he wore a sleeveless vest, and was cloaked in a jacket, the sleeves covered his elbows, it had a large color the covered the back of his neck, and stretched all the way down to his ankles. he walked closer to the waterfall with his arms folded behind his head, his eyes were closed, and he seemed calm and relaxed. as he drew near, the loud noise that the waterfall made when it crashed down, seemed to drown out any other noise nearby. he hopped unto one of the rocks, and sat there with his feet dangling in the water. he looked down, with a face of disappointment, wondering what was he doing here, in this world.

looking back at the academy, he strived to be stronger, he passed the exams, and went on to genin level with ease. when it was time to learn his first ninja technique, he failed miserably, though he was tested to be water and lightning nature type, which was a rare case. he pondered a bit as why he couldn'd learn any of the mist village's water techniques, constantly looking down at the gushing waters below. he came to this place with a plan to rectify that problem, if he was to become stronger, he must have a way of doing it, even if he was jutsuless.
he sprung up on the rock, a slight breeze blew over his hair as he closed his eyes, it blew his black jacket creating small ripples at the bottom. he pulled out a small book from his pocket inside, and flung it into the waters where it disappeared. it was a novel someone wrote about element affinities, he had forced himself to read it out of fustration, for he wanted to learn jutsus so badly, elemental ones that is. he spent the night before working on a jutsu that he concocted himself, though it seemed pretty far fetched, he decided to give it try.
He breathed in and out heavily, and steadied the flow of his chakra. His water and lightning chakra ratios were perfectly even, he thought that it was the reason for him not learning any other jutsus. So he developed one specifically designed for him.

He holded his left hand with right, and focused lightning chakra into it. At first, pure chakra emerged at the palm of his hand, but it was hardly visible. This may be due to his lackage of chakra control training, but in theory, he calculated that with his knowledge, the jutsu would be perfected. Widening his stance on the rock, he grinded his teeth a bit, and extended his left hand further, concentrating even harder. Soon, little sparks of lightning emerged, though the looked like static surging on his palm. The sparks constantly appeared, then disappeared, making a sparking noise every time it did. He then released it to gather more chakra, doing it over again, this time, using a bit more. he tried to contain the lightning sparks from leaving the invisible sphere around his palm, so it was trapped in a ball, but it didn't look like one. Starting to sweat, he focussed and focussed, untill there was a small light luminating in the center of his palm, from the book, it said that it was the limit to which one such as his self can obtain.
When Jin saw this, a smile slowly gleamed over his face, feeling as though he accomplished a lot,''tsk, wow... That was quick!''. indeed this was a huge accomplishment for him, his first element now revealed to his eyes, and so felt more confidence in himself. In an instant, all the lightning chakra disappeared. He clenched his fist, then flicking it about to get rid of the tingly sensation in it. Then went straight unto the next step. He held the same palm out, trying his best to concentrate his water based chakra into it... After a few seconds, the sparks appeared again, just like before. He immediately screwed up his as if it was a novice mistake, but indeed it was, he didn't realize it yet, but he continued anyway.

he tried and tried, but could not get it down. his left hand now got a bit worn out from the lightning chakra, he decided to use his left. still in his stance, sweat ran down his face as he concentrated his water chakra, or at least he thought he was. he didn't distinguish between his two types of chakra in his body, and was concentrating blindly. but he guessed it right that his lightning chakra is more to his left, and so he learnt this when he saw what happened in his palm.
as the chakra emerged from his right palm, little droplets of water formed. drawing the moisture from the air, the drops got bigger, it floated in the center of his palm, wobbling as it increased is size. he smirked a bit, but continued to focus more of his chakra. eventually, it made a ball of water in his palm, then he looked at it and loosed concentration. the ball wobbled uncontrollably and bursted out of his hand.''dammit!''. although this was yet an another great accomplishment for him, he desperately wanted to become stronger, when his lightning chakra worked out, the speed of training that he thought was normal, and so thought that he was taking too long to develop the water part.

he did it again and never lost focus, he even compacted the water so that it would stop wobbling. he let out a sigh of relief and wiped out the sweat from his face.
''right, now for the next step!''.
he then attempted the two at the same time.
he held his palms out to either side facing up. closing his eyes, he focused lightning down his left arm, and water chakra down his right. concentrating both simultaneously was a feat far from his level, he didn't know this, but his will power pushed him onwards. pure, somewhat invisible chakra emerged from both palms, signalling that he failed. he clenched both fists and screwed up his face, doing it over and over again.
It was now midday, huge dark clouds drew near blocking out the harsh sun, and he eventually stopped sweating. the breeze picked up, making the end of his jacket flutter wildly, he was now more focused, and did over the technique. finally, he did it, the sparks appeared on his left arm, and the water molecules collected in his right, he continued focusing.

eventually, the lightning chakra reached its limit on his palm, and the water formed a ball. he brought his two palms together in a dome shape, where the two elements naturally combined. suddenly, the sparks that surrounded the ball of water extended all the way up his forearm, the ball got a bit agitated, and soon erupted. he started to worry, he tried his best to maintain it, but he couldn't at his level. the ball flashed a bit, then exploded infront him, making a sound of a popping water balloon, but it was more powerfull. it caused first degree burns on his forearm, before tossing his backwards several feet along the waters surface and smacking into another rock, where he sank into the water.

after a few moments, he surfaced, focusing chakra in his palms to help him up, then to his feet so he would stand atop the water. he hunched over and gasped for air. when he caught his breath, he hopped back unto the rock he was on and got back into his stance. it started to drizzle a bit, he was now soaking wet, but wasn't about to give up, he pulled out a small bandage from his inner pocket, and wrapped it around both hands.
he stood upright and remembered something, he squinted his eyes, as he thought about the novel, though it seemed more like a ninja guide book. he recalled the purpose of hand seals , it was to help perform ninja techniques, perhaps it would work for his jutsu. he pondered a bit, then finally came up with a combination.
he did the seals, being six in all, and concentrated both water and lightning chakra in his hands. when they were complete, he combined his palms and so did the elements. they ball of water and lightning started to glow at the center, he continued focusing, and soon the whole thing was glowing. he smirked as he watched it, seeming to draw in more water and lightning by the second.
''heh, finally, now i can complete it!''.
with that said, he released the jutsu to gather his chakra.

the rain fell harder and harder, as if a storm was approaching, Jin looked into the sky.
''hmph!, a little shower isn't gonna keep me back, the day isn't over yet.''
he mumbled to himself, then readying hand seals as he faced forward.
The winds picked up, combining with the rain made the place extra cold, but had a look of determination on his face, he started to shiver. when the seals were complete, he focused the lightning and water chakra to his respective palms, then combining them to make an electrified ball of water. sparks scurried about the ball's surface as more and more chakra was being pumped into it. the ball glowed a bright sapphire colour, being white at the center. little beams of light appeared to be coming into it from the outside, signalling that it was drawing more and more. Jin's palms started to shake uncontrollably, so decided to test it out. the ball was being held in place by a translucent layer of chakra that he made, he pulled the electrified water ball to his left hip, still holding it with both arms. when he pulled it back to its peak, more sparks escaped the ball, but he didn't mind the pain of it burning into his flesh.
He thrusted his palms forward infront his chest, aiming at the cliff where the waterfall was on. while he was doing so, the front portion of chakra that contained the ball was released, and so the compacted water and lightning would have no choice but go forwards. and it did, very quickly, it made a blue vertical, circular wave at the openning, and bursted infront him with tremendous force. a sapphire beam of water and lightning, no more than six inches blasted at
the cliff, and got to twelve inches the next second.
the blast cratered the wall, and shattered the earth. it lasted for two seconds before it left his hand, and left a huge crater in the wall, filled with lightning sparks.

when it was done, he fell to his knees panting heavily, little streams of water covered his face from the rainfall. he lifted his right knee up and placed his right hand on it, when a grin swept across his face. because of his current level, it took up a massive bit of his chakra, though at genin level, this jutsu he made was far from it, he did in fact have more chakra than the average genin from his class.
he struggled to stand up, pondering about the technique. he had accomplished a lot, he looked back at the few who could have created jutsus themselves, and they were all powerfull, so he felt the same way. he thought about it, water part from it first, it would have been the cause for the destruction of the earth. the lightning would have helped it along, as well as the sparks it left behind, and that if the beam itself missed, the static emitted would make its range wider. with that in mind, he had to take into consideration the the flaws of it, if he were to actually use it in combat.
''hmmh, well, the length of time it took for me to charge it up, i'm sure my opponent wouldn't just stand there and wait, there must be a faster way!''.
Then he observed his chakra level, and estimated it to be not enough, so he went home to recover, and would return the next day.
