The Yoshitoki Training Grounds [Read First Post]

To all readers:

- This Topic is for Yoshitoki Clan members ONLY, for those who wish to train or spar here with other clanmembers and get RP Wise advises on how to improve their skills.
- There is to be absolutely NO killing here
- No Clan Jutsu training here - Jutsu Training, regardless of what type of Jutsu is, (Kekkei Genkai, Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, etc.) is to be learned in the Jutsu Training Grounds forum at the bottom of the site.
- The training grounds of the Yoshitoki Clan are in the house itself, them being the small yard in the middle of it. To be able to post here, you must have a previous action post in the house stating you come here (To make it more RP-believable)
- Any action done in the Yoshitoki Clanhouse, one that globally veils it (an attack, for example), will also affect the training grounds, meaning a Yoshitoki in training here does know the house is under attack (to counter any imply of meta-gaming)

The Yoshitoki training grounds are part of the clanhouse itself, the grounds being the yard surrounded by the small complex. It is a crude and simple yard if not for the sakura tree in the northwestern corner of the grounds, which pettles sometimes dance through the house while the morning breeze blows against them. On the eastern limits of the grounds, a small group of flowers grows and blossoms into mountain flowers, oddly enough.

In other words, the Yoshitoki Clan's training grounds can be seen not only as an area to practice the body and mind, but also the soul, as the refreshing breeze and sakura pettles relax the spirit of the clan member training here, making his training easier (do not take it literally! you know what i mean o.o')

Takimoto was standing in the middle of the yard when he heard steps coming from his sleeping quarters. It was obviously Touou, waking up from his hard moments of sleep. The older Yoshitoki turned around to glance him with his glittering green eyes, smiling at the fact that his brother was all better... Hopefully.

"Come, Touou-kun. We should fight now and test each other's skills. It is just right for us to fight over the clan's leadership now that Mother's gone. She'd be proud of you... But I must know if in the time I was away, you actually got stronger..."

The Yoshitoki waited for an answer, the kunai's rings showing on each of his shoulder's pockets. Along his long sleeves were hidden six small objects, three in each sleeve. There was clearly a wire attached to each of Takimoto's middle fingers, two kunais strapped behind his thighs. On the Chuunin's backs, a katana was strapped to a small leather string. He even took his six-inches claws from his waist and equipped them on his left hand. Takimoto meant the words he said.

"You can start whenever you like. First one to give up or be knocked out shall lose... The other shall become the clan leader. Come all-out, that's what I want you to do... Little brother.

These would be the last words the Yoshitoki would say until the match was over. He wanted to put a final stop to the clan's dangerous situation before the word that it was without a leader spread throughout the strongest clans, like the Uchiha or the noble Hyuuga.

"Hmph, Taki, you of all people should know.....I don't want clan leadership, and I never did. Even when I was proclaimed the prodigy of this clan. But, if it's a fight you want, I won't decline on the offer."

Just how he left the house in the first place, he was still barechested and hand only a pair of loose black slacks on. He wasn't prepared for a fight or even training. But since this was the clan's training area, all of the eqipment he needed was to the left of the training ground entrance; anything a Yoshitoki may need. Touou casually walked over to the equipment and attached a set of the clan's claws to his right hand and put on one of the clan's unique vests, that had a pocket on each side, rings sticking up out of them, which obviously belonged to the kunai stored in them. There were two more pockets on each side. Each one was buttoned closed. He picked up a couple rolls of ninja wire and a few explosion tags. He was still ill prepared for a battle but this would have to do for now.

"Since you called the battle, you should be the one to make the first move, no?"

Takimoto nodded, his right hand sinking deep into his ninja pouch and taking two shuriken, then simply throwing them in an arched course. The older Yoshitoki did not want to achieve anything with this attack. While multiple plans were structured on the Chuunin's mind, he began jogging towards Touou, slightly steering his course to his right (your right).

Touou jumped high into the air, avoiding any wires that may have been attached to the shuriken. At the angle at which he jumped, he seemed to be directly under the sun. Because of this, if Takimoto looked up towards him , the sunlight would blind him. This hid the fact that Touou had reached in his pockets and pulled out his own shuriken. With a few twists of his hands and intricate movements of his hands, the 6 shuriken rained down towards Takimoto. 3 of these shuriken were headed towards Taki, while the other three flew around him in a triangular fashion. In the next moment, Touou flipped to the ground, landing 15 feet behind his brother, reaching for a kunai in the left pocket of the vest with his right hand.

(It would be godmod me saying the shuriken had wire attached now, as as you said, we Yoshitoki can see the thinnest things, mainly ninja wire =/)

Takimoto stopped in the spot, the six shuriken raining down on him. As he knew his brother would land behind him, the older Yoshitoki brought his left hand to his sword's hilt and swiftly brought it up above his shoulder, being able to do so with it strapped due to the agile leather wire it was attached to. The three shuriken aimed at him would rebound as the other three, if with wires attached, would most likely surround him. He did not care, Takimoto had his own trickets under his sleeves... Both metaphorically and literally.

(^^ oh yeah very true..but I forgot all about that x.x..... Also, my computer was moving very slow and I edited the the post I made before. Made the distand 15ft....but it was too lateto stop it from going through :/)

Takimoto probably would have noticed the wiring attached to 3 of his shuriken, but the angle and position he threw from [in front of the sun], most people would have lowered accuracy. Two of the shuriken were deflected, while the last slipped around the katana and cut Takimoto's hand. As for the other three that landed around Taki, Touou then pulled his left hand, with the kunai, tugged as well. This caused two of the shuriken with the wire attached, to fling up and hopefully wrap around Takimoto's legs, but his plan wouldn't hinge on it. The kunai in his hand had a white paper wrapped around the handle smoothly. He held on tightly and ran towards Takimoto.

Takimoto brought his katana down as he bent his knees slightly, just enough to have the two shuriken wrapped around its sheathed blade. He twirled it around to handle it tighter and sank his other hand on the ninja pouch, taking out a paper and inducing chakra to it to fasten the process of it burning up. An exploding tag? Touou would know it was quite a perfect "replica", but not entirely one.

Takimoto's hand burned slightly as he wrapped the tag around the strings, then watching that fire spread through the wire, both to the edge attached to Taki's blade, as to the other attached to his brother's kunai. Because it was such a small weapon, the kunai would most likely not be enough to absorb the fire, and Takimoto's plan was to burn the younger Yoshitoki's hands... Just enough to make him think one more time before attacking his big brother with wires.

(it is like the dragon fire breath sasuke uses against naruto in their fight in epi 127 i think, only differences are the fire being quite thinner , therefore weaker, and the catalyzer is a fake exploding tag that burns like a normal one - however, it does travel fast through the wire like the dragon fire breath)

The fire quickly burned Touou's hands and a bit of his arms, it being stronger than his older brother had thought of. Takimoto quickly rushed to save his brother, who laid there in pain and screaming. The two Yoshitoki were immediatly rushing into the kitchen, where Taki used cold water on the other member's hands to try and ease the pain. Then, he left the grounds, then he would leave the house. Touou would be left alone recuperating.

Isaac had followed his cousin into the back yard of the clan house. During this fight he had taken cover in the shadows of house and bushes. The fight had entertained him and he was happy to see that his cousins had improved since he had last saw them. He could see now that it was Taki who had won this time but Touou also fought very well. He was proud to call these two his cousins and he hoped one day they would be proud of him aswell. He watched Taki walk back into the house and decided not to follow him, he had done enough of that today. Instead he just stayed in his same position he had kept through out this fight and observed his defeated cousin. He knew that he didn't want the clan leadership before Taki had it so wasn't sure if he had held back against him. Isaac doubted this. They were both very strong but one more year of experience sure does help in the long run.

With this he slipped out the shadows and turned to walk around the side of the clan house. He had seen enough now and decided it was time for him to go.

Back at the training ground of the proud Yoshitoki clan, Takimoto smiled as his cousin prepared himself to fight against the older shinobi. This should be interesting, a battle between two ninja that would excel in Taijutsu and Kenjutsu. Taki grabbed one of the swords and sheathed it on his backs, his claws being also kept inside his armpad as the Chuunin took a fighting position.

"We're gonna cover the basics of Yoshitoki. Attack me with whatever you want however you want. I'll be ready to defend and counter. We'll have a fun time, I can bet that much. So... Come..."

Takimoto popped his neck slightly to the side, then watching his young cousin's move.

The genin nodded at the instructions Taki had gave to him. Jumping backwards a couple of feet his eyes quickly darted around, analysing the scenery around them. He slipped his right hand behind him, managing to find itself into it's claw that were strapped at the back of his waist. With this done he let his left hand drop limp at his side the leg which is symmetry to his left hand moved slightly forward. Isaac's eyes closed for a moment and he began to concentrate on his tactis. He bent his torso forward ever so slightly so that he was now in a sort of sideways stance while his right hand tingled in anticipation. He was now ready.

With this thought in his mind the Yoshitoki wasted no time he burst into a quick speed towards Taki, lifting a bit of dust from his acceleration. He decided to start things of simple. As he was close enough he raised his claw high into the air, then brang it down at an angle so it would strike from Taki's left shoulder down to his waist.

Takimoto paid close attention to his cousin's movements, noticing a steady and constant flow over them. Time periods of running came to make sense on the Yoshitoki's mind as he calculated the Genin's speed and power, simply sliding his left foot backwards and to the right, his body being pulled by that slide as Isaac's claw would slash the emptiness of the air. At the same time, Taki brought his right hand up, closing it into a fist and forcing its backs against his cousin's face. The hit would have a slight tilting effect, a build-up for something far more serious if Isaac did not dodge or block. The speed at which the Chuunin brought his arm up for the punch was average, controlable, which meant he could be using that as a mere feint...

He could feel that his movements were being watched by his cousin. He felt as if he should maybe try and change his pattern, maybe his flow of fighting to try and surprise him. Isaac kept his whole body in view, getting ready for any movements coming from him. As his claw struck against nothing he quickly noticed the rising fist that was coming in his direction. Changing the flow of his claw he curved it so it began to rise upwards now towards Taki's hand. If Taki didn't halt his attack the middle claw of Isaac's claw would impale his wrist. While this was going on Isaac's left hand slipped behind his waist, reaching into his pocket.

Takimoto smiled at his cousin's quick response, opening his hand and rotating it to the left, his index and middle fingers' tips sliding through the upper side of Isaac's claws and reaching the back of his right hand. The Chuunin would tap the hand of the Genin for it to go down, quickly bringing the back of that same hand to hit Isaac's right cheek. He slid his left foot forwards once again, his body now facing Isaac once again, so that Taki could have full use of his left arm due to the attention that his young cousin's movements gave him.

Isaac frowned slightly as the claw slipped in between the Chuunin's fingers. His hand was forced down and Isaac was struck by the hand that had just caught his claws. The clip to the face caused him to move his body to the left, his right hand moving with him also. Then as he did so he kicked off with his left foot backwards but his right foot remained in place. This caused him to spin in a 360 degree circle. At the first the strike would be aimed at Taki's right part of his torso from where he started, even if this didn't hit it's target Isaac finished this off by thrusting his claw straight at the left hand side of Taki's torso. During this twist Isaac managed to take out a kunai that was concealed in his pocket, holding it up against his left wrist so as to conceal it from his opponents view.

Takimoto fell down to his left knee, raising his left forearm to block the kick and watched his cousin's claw grazing through his right shoulder, a shallow wound being made in it as the Chuunin slammed his right palm against the other shinobi's backs, then gripping them with his fingers and pressing hard on the level of the spine, twisting the flesh to the side as he had his right hand in the shape of a claw, fire chakra slowly veilling the tips of its fingers and burning through the clothes of Isaac.

"What now, Isaac-kun?"

Asked Takimoto in a teacher's tone, obviously knowing that his cousin was capable of dodging this, although he had his backs turned against his opponent, which would make the palm strike impossible to dodge. His one-leg stand would also be a factor in his lack of possibilities to evade that attack, which was converted into a submission hold.
