Character Personality:
Artheim always has a sense of humor. While this sense of humor widely depends on his mood, it can be from anywhere from cruel humor to the exact opposite. While HE is not always funny, he can appreciate a good joke. He is also at times very insulting, and mocking, on the times he chooses to speak. As stated, that is rare. He normally just uses head acknowledgment or a grunt. He normally shows his expression facially. Something along those lines. He rarely takes anything at offense, and often speaks with as little words as possible. He doesn't mind killing, and does it easily. Although he often doesn't go out of his way to kill someone randomly, only when he has a purpose. He also has a VERY strong sense of loyalty to his village, and hates traitors.

Background Info:
Artheim grew up in the mist village, which meant killing was necessary. He passed the Chunin exams by killing everyone else. It was shown that he had a talent for it, and quickly passed the Jounin exams. He has been fighting for his village since.

Artheim stood there, waiting. He held his sword in front of him, dual gripped and in a guard position. He looked towards his opponent. He would not waste words on this one, as he rarely spoke them. He wouldn't waste his breathe on the opponent, let alone his words. His sword was light in his hands, from strength that came from years of training and hard living. Not to mention killing. He could be called a pacifist, but whoever called him that would be very wrong and VERY dead when he found out. He loved to fight, even if he was a little less enthusiastic about the killing.

He watched his opponent, looking for any sign of movement. Anything that could give him an opening. A slight break in his opponents demeanor, or a sign of fatigue. He then jumped to the right, landing on his right foot and pushed off, landing on both feet. He hoped to get his opponent off guard with this tactic. Or at least start to shift their weight to the wrong direction. He moved forward at a moderate pace. Since the distance between his opponent himself was not very far, this would let him get their in a timely fashion and be able to move and shift his weight if needed.

The sun shone on him as he went forward, his determination shown in his face. This was an important battle, one that needed to be.... "finished". That was the word his kage had used, and he knew what it meant. He wanted the target killed, and quickly disposed of. He somewhat enjoyed doing this. Not the killing, which he just thought of as necessary, but just the doing it for the village. The.... kinsman ship, as it could be called. Even if they weren't related.

He judged what he knew of the target as he rushed forward, the information quickly processing in his head. Nothing. That's what he knew about him, for the most part. Absolutely nothing. Eh, that was expected of. One thing he knew was that the target wasn't THAT dangerous, but knew things that weren't supposed to get out. Another thing was that it was a rogue Mist ninja. He HAD to be disposed of, as quickly as possible.

He hated rogue ninjas. They had no sense of loyalty, and the betrayal! It was one of the few things that made him angry. They made him VERY angry. One of the only times he liked to kill things was when he was angry. This, obviously, did not bode well with the renegade ninjas. As he most often volunteered to find them because of his hatred towards them. They where worse than slime. They where almost nonexistent. They where like cattle to be slaughtered, except that this cattle could move.

He was easily able to kill these dogs, without a twinge of regret, remorse, pity, or any other feeling he could think of. It was like killing a pig to feed your starving family. You wouldn't think twice about it. He also hated it when they took bribes. That made him almost as angry as traitors. And the village or person that attempted or succeeded with a bribe. Those made him VERY angry. He would only make a bribe if he had no other choice. He would never take one.

As he got up to his opponent he swung his sword at his opponents arm, while he used the momentum to propel a foot forward at his opponent knee. He also bent his left leg, the one not kicking, just in case he had to jump back. He intended to have this battle finished soon, and he hoped his wish would come true.

It was gonna be one hell of a fight. One person would survive, and the other wouldn't.
