A joyful day {Serph Vs. Anti Osira} Empty A joyful day {Serph Vs. Anti Osira}

It was quite funny how a day like this could start. Waking up and sending a note, a message to an old friend. A message which would induce a fight between those old companions. That pair of men were Serph, current ruler of Amegakure, and one of the village's forgotten heroes, Anti Osira a mere Jounin. Osira walked across the wide, almost endless plain that held nothing but wet ground. No grass, only that rain-drenched earth. The playfield was actually more of a pit in the scenery. At all sides it was surrounded by cliffs which had rocks point out of them and those spear-like boulders did not invite one to jump into them. The rain was falling as every inhabitant of the Land of Rain was used to it falling.

So...It is another day. Another waste of oxygen. Funny that today I will waste more of that required gas. A fight after so long. . . and now even against the man that once gave me a sense of self. Really comedic. Such thoughts were nothing rare for Anti. He was an introverted man and he was waiting. What else could he do, other than thinking through so, so much things that burdened him. That very same stuff still semed to touch Anti so few when he was asked about it. Not that it matters anyway.

Seraph had been walking towards the area for a while now. He had taken a little detour and had reached "The Pit", as it was known by most of the residents of Amegakure, through the dense tropical forest. His white hair lied unkempt and, as usual when he was at his home, wet. The only times Seraph's hair was dry was when he was on missions outside of the village.

Though those days had long passed. These were the days were he kept to his office most of the time dealing with political affairs. He longed for some spice in his now routine life. He thought that this would be good enough for that extra "umph" he needed. He had rarely heard from his old comrade Anti, but the note he sent this morning was intriguing and decided not to turn him down.

Seraph reached The Pit and saw Anti's form in the distance. The blood started pumping faster as his anticipation of what might happen was what made Seraph walk faster towards his destination. After a few short strides he was finally within speaking range of Anti.

"Hello...its been a while...how have you been?" he said deciding it best to begin a conversation curtly and politely. They had been through a lot together and Seraph wasn't one to forget his comrades.

The wind began to whistle a lullaby or so Anti's mind explained the melody he heard. It was a harmonic progression of tunes. Note after note manifested in the brain of that Jounin and then. . . Serph's voice ripped Anti out of that closed up fragment of space.

Osira Anti turned around. His white hair was totally drenched and had taken on a gray color - It probably made him look older, more mature. Anti's black clothes, non-waterproof clothes, were soaked, of course. As Anti then turned around water drops flew from the wet hair tips the enveloped his face. The slight hint of a smile was possibly seen on his face for the fraction of a second.

"It has been. . . Very long. You have not given me a mission for a time, Lord kage." Anti tried to say that in a jokish manner, but as he is he failed at doing so. Despite Anti's dull manner of talking and the total lack of humor he could be a good friend and an even better comrade. He seems pretty anorexic. . . Eventually being the leader of a Shinobi village and dealing with political affairs isn't as easy as it sounds. Maybe it just puts that much strain on him though because he is so young.. Unlike his way to talk, his body language and even what his face says, Anti is a person who cares for those he calls his friends.

The wind was blowing Seraph's wet bangs out of his face as a smile formed on it. Seraph some how had a feeling Anti would complain about not getting missions. Though Seraph knew he was trustworthy enough, Anti's emotional moments did tend to get a bit annoying; he cared greatly for his comrade but even he couldn't get past Anti's occasional emo moments. Also...he was easily distracted by any little thing.

"Hmmm you're probably right about that...I'll see what I can scrounge up the next time I'm at the office." He said courteously while waving it off, it was his favorite way of changing the conversation, and it hardly ever failed him when he wanted to avoid topics pertaining to his responsibilities as Amegakure's village leader.

He cleared his throat and smiled after looking away, his attention momentarily drawn away from the moment by a peculiar patch of blue sky, something hardly ever seen in this rainy part of the world. "So...you wanted to see me?" he felt that now was the time to bring up the reason they were both here as his interest was now piqued once again. Slowly he moved his right hand to his wet hair and pulled it back as it was now completely out of his face.

The soft facade of a smile soon dispersed. It changed and became something of a serious face. Rather uncommon for Anti. He opened the first two, maybe three buttons of his black jacket. Anti's shoulders were enough to hold the jacket onto his body.

"Hmm... You have still the same way of changing the topic. . . just like back then" It were only those few words that came out of Anti's mouth. His rather deep and still gentle voice echoed through 'The Pit' rather loudly, almost like it was amplified by the area.

The rain didn't change anything about the mood in the battleground either. It was just the common rain of the land of Rain. "Yes. . . I'm sure you recieved my message so you know that this meeting is not about dwelling in old memories." A soft grin had by then decorated Anti's face. Even if that evil smile only lasted for a few moments, it was proof of Anti being just a human life everyone else, and maybe by then he had already matured a tiny bit.
