Bloodline Name/Surname: Hatake
Type of registration: Kekkei Genkai and Clan
If Kekkei Genkai what type of: Ability to control the elements of a storm (rain, lightning, wind, tornadoes). Some members contain the trait known as "The Eye of the Storm" which allows them to see more clearly than normal eyes in the cases of all rainfall (including any wind which may "thicken" the rain). The limit of the ability to see clearly is up to the limit that their "level" allows them to create. If the thickness of the rain is higher than that which the user can create, it merely appears to go "down" a level of thickness.
Element: Water (rain), Lightning (duh!), and Wind (again duh!)
Description: The Hatake Clan started as a lightning-specialty clan until they discovered an innate connection to the weather. Members in direct blood lineage could create and control their own forms of storms (but not pre-existing ones). The weakest and youngest members could only create rain storms with mild gusts of wind (up to 25mph). Only cloud-to-cloud lightning can be produced (mainly used to create the thunder sound).
The moderate-strength members can create mild thunderstorms and near-gale-force winds (up to about 55-65mph). Lightning may strike frequently, however this depletes the chakra the more frequent lightning strikes. Accuracy of the lightning is fair, but not good (scale of 1-10, about a 4). (keep in mind that these are the limits each "level" can create up to, many different combinations can be made if the user remains under their limit)
The strong members can create severe thunderstorms and gale-force winds (100mph at best). Moderate-level tornadoes can be created (up to EF2). (Remember that tornadoes can include water funnels and dust clouds if the conditions are right) Some members have been known to be able to make golf-ball sized hail. Lightning is much more accurate (7 on a scale 1-10).
Masters can create Hurricanes and Typhoons. Tornadoes may be up to EF5. Winds created during extremely dangerous thunderstorms can reach Hurricane speeds (over 115mph). Pure Lightning storms may be created and accuracy of lightning strikes is up to 95%. Hail can reach the size of a cantaloupe or small melon. (Basically think of Storm from the X-men)
It is important to note that the Hatake Clan itself has an affinity towards Wolves, although this does not affect any members.
Limitations: The more any member does at once, the more chakra it requires them to use. Focus on maintaining the storm conditions may keep the member from doing other jutsu simultaniously and efficiently (i.e. the less focus on other jutsu, the more chakra it takes).
