The Coming of the Prince

Post by Lariet on Fri Jun 05, 2009 11:20 pm

It was amidst midnight as Lariet awoke from a slumber that seemed to never end. He shock the dirt off his long draping robe like Desert clothing. As Lariet rose his trusty donkey stood by his side. Lariet couldn't even remember his own name or his clan relation. All he knew was he was now awake in the middle of a desert with his sword and donkey. He read the Hilt of his sword as it said "The Prince.."

"Hmmmm? The Prince Ehh? Sounds like a name I may just adopt. Does not sound to bad now does it donkey old pal?"

The donkey shook his mouth as he carried bags full of money and shillings. Lariet starting walking toward the horizon as too go somewhere. Somewhere of some importance.

Kiyoshi leaned against the gates of Suna. His hands were tucked into his pockets, as he gazed ahead into the darkness that enveloped Suna. It was amidst midnight, and Kiyoshi had just woken up. He'd slept through most of the day since Suna was so boring. Now, awake, there was no one to bother him. He decided to be a guard for the Night. Perhaps stumble across something which might be fun.

He was in his usual clothing. Wearing a white T shirt with short sleeves, and white loose pants which made the flow of his movements swift. Underneath the T shirt was a dark T shirt, but with long sleeves. Attached to both thighs of his were the normal Shinobi weapon pouch. His hair, draped over his forehead, blurring out his Village head band, which was Suna. Around his neck were a long white scarf.

Suddenly over the horizon Kiyoshi could get a glance at Lariet. However he could not depict who or what Lariet was. Lariet chuckled a bit as he began to see the city. The huge village built of sand and the chakra of the 1st kazekage. Lariet didn't know this but that would never be important to him because of inability to care. Lariet walked forward with his trusty donkey by his side as the gauntlet on his left hand slashed with the wind as a sand storm began to pick up.

"Hmmm. A establishment of sand. I wonder if they by any chance have a inn.. No matter they don't except donkeys anyhow. Always afraid of my jackass. Quite a foolish bunch i presume."

Lariet had his right hand on his hilt like always. He hand naturally fit in the hold.

Snoring could be heard. Taking a quick glance upwards, he found Guard #1 and #2 fast asleep. Guards, sleeping on duty? They should be reported to the Kaze kage. The only problem was Suna had no Kage at the moment. Suna was vulnerable, and that was no good. He if he was too wake them up now, they might probably get grumpy and attack him.

He sighed, gazing back up ahead. Then he sighted a figure over the horizon. Someone was approaching the village of sand, this late in the night. Perhaps someone coming to attack Suna? But that wouldn't make any sense. Suna hadn't caused any havoc with anyone during the last Sixteen years. Sixteen years, yes, that was how hold Kiyoshi was, and how long he'd live here in Sand.

Kiyoshi wasn't bothered by the appearance of this Stranger. He didn't really care much about what lived around him, and those he knew. So why would he care for a stranger he knew nothing of? He yawned again, his eyes locked on the Stranger. As the Stranger came closer, Kiyoshi could now sight the animal that accompanied him.

A Donkey? What in the world was this Guy doing with a donkey? Then he took a few glances at the Stranger from head to toe, observing the clothing he wore. It wasn't Shinobi like. Well, Kiyoshi's day was about to brighten up, even though it was by a little.

Taven was running as fast as he could manage in the dark and sand. Taven could perhaps look like someone who was rushing to strike the village. He prayed the gaurds knew he wasn't. Taven rushed faster and faser. He saw Lariet but kept moving, he didn't wish to be caught by the mysterious man that had taken him to the cave. Taven quickly reached into his shinobi pouch and pulle dout a light bomb. He threw it into the air and as it exploded Taven hoped it would give off a warning letting the village know he meant no harm. Taven gave a sigh as he felt his chest grow increasingly sore from fatigue. Taven hadn't run this far in a while, he really was seeing he had no position as a shinobi. He had to be determine, he had to live!

Lariet chuckled a bit to himself as he kept walking sword in sheath. His donkey drooled a little bit as they continued walking. Lariet continued walking as Taven set off the bomb in the air.

"This Place is filled with raging lunatics.. Holy shit. This adventure truly is proving to be a fun one."

His gauntlet continued to jingle in the winds as he got ever so close to the gates. The gates looked like they could easily collapse. Not that he would do such a thing but the fact appalled him a bit. Made Lariet want to laugh. His red and blue clothing continued to flutter in the winds as him and his donkey began to get closer.

Kiyoshi could sight another figure approaching the village. Now there were two? This indeed was becoming a very interesting morning. He didn't move an Inch though. Nothing had yet to motivate him too. Then, suddenly, Kiyoshi saw what was to be a Light bomb set off in the air. What was that supposed to mean? That didn't matter much to him anyways.

He gazed up at the gates, trying to see if the Guards had woken up yet. But the irritating sound, the snoring of both Shinobi's could still be heard. Apparently, no, the Guards were still asleep. What a shame, as shame indeed to have guards like this guarding your village. Suna was really in need of a Kage.

He yawned for what seemed to be the Third time in a Minute or two? The guy with the odd clothing was now shortening the distance between them both, Kiyoshi and him. He was now about what, twenty steps away? Kiyoshi coughed, clearing his throat. It seemed the cold he caught lately hadn't yet be gone.

Taven let was close to the gates as he ran harder forwards tryign to get to the gates before he collapsed. He was determined and willing to make it. 'Hello? Is anyone there?' Taven's voice was coarse, he had sand in his throat. That was one negative aspect of living in a desert, sand got everywhere. Taven reached the gate and he threw a few kunai into the wall. he used these to allow him to jump up the gate as he landed on the top Gaurd floor and fell down to sit. He was so tired he could have fallen asleep there. He called out again 'Hello?' before he sat there awaiting someone to find him.

Lariet simply chuckled as the 2 people on the gate talked. He finally reached the opening of the village which was now closed. Lariet drew his blade. Pointing it infront of him to his left foot as he spread his legs.

"Hmm. Might as well..."

Lariet swung his sword to his side dragging his gauntlet through the ground into the gate creating a distinct crack noise. Lariet took his gauntlet equipped fingers and brought them down as he jumped upwards. The velocity of the jump increased by the downward force with his gauntlet as Lariet flew straight up above the gate in front of the 2 ninjas watching over the village. He cleanly jumped over the gate while bracing his gauntlet downwards smashing into the ground within the gate shadow in the village. A huge dust cloud appeared concealing Lariet as the main gate door opened allowing his donkey to rush in as they closed.

Re: The Coming of the Prince

Post by Kiyoshi on Sat Jun 06, 2009 2:07 am

Kiyoshi just watched the younger Shinobi of the two who had been approaching the village leap over the gate. The noise of the Kunais the Shinobi threw at the wall had awaken the Suna guards now. Without hesitation, they bounded up placing theirs hands together as they began forming hand seals. Reaching into their weapon pouch, they through shurikens down at the Shinobi. The shurikens in time multiplied into Hundreds of them now heading towards the Shinobi.

Kiyoshi sighed. Another Shinobi's life was about to be taken away from him? Sad, sad indeed. Kiyoshi's gaze was now focused on the Elder man. He scuffed, as he performed his little dance moves to get over the gates. He pushed himself off of the gates the moment it began to open, taking a few steps forward, away from the entrance, which was about to be a blood bath. It seemed none of the Shinobi's who'd 'invaded' Suna took acknowledge of him.

Now the weapons the Shinobi had hurled down at the Shinobi was now multiplied into Two hundred. Now hurling down at both Shinobi's. Kiyoshi wasn't in the mood to fight. But the soon-to-be battle would amuse him he hoped. He watched silently.

Taven quickly focused a small portion of chakra into his fan as he whipped it towards the sand. It blew up some sand and acted as a veyr poor shield blocking some kunai Taven held his back tight to the walls to prevent himself being damaged as he yelled out 'ITS ME TAVEN STOP PLEASE!!!!'

Taven hoped the gaurds would stop their onslaught before he was killed, he doubted this but hoped they would...

Lariet was now nowhere in sight as he had disappeared in the huge dust cloud that now enveloped the town. Lariet and his trusty donkey left the scene while enveloped in the dust. When he was a good measure away from the guards Lariet slashed the air around him with his gauntlet dissipating the dust around him allowing him to see.

"That was not too bad now was it you Jackass? You should trust me some time. I know what I'm doing sometimes. After all I am The Prince."

The donkey scuffed as they began to walk towards the inn leaving the guards at the gate baffled.

Kiyoshi's excitement was cut short as the guards seemed to stop attacking. The seemed to have recognized the Shinobi, Taven. A Genin of the Sand village. Kiyoshi yawned, leaping up into the air, forward, and over the gate. The guards simply groaned, and took their positions back at the gate. They ignored Taven. It seemed they hadn't notice the presence of the other shinobi? And where was he anyways? Had he already vanished into the village. The trouble begins.

Kiyoshi simple gave a quick glance at Taven, but the shinobi wouldn't notice since it was still dark. Kiyoshi departed away from the Entrance, hoping to find the elder Shinobi. He looked fun ...

Taven gave a sharp breath as he moved on. He also was curious of the elder shinobi. He wanted to also make sure that Kiyoshi wasn't going to get himself into trouble. Taven felt like he could drop at anytime but felt this was perfect training for him. He would work hard so he would excel in the shinobi world. He had dreams he wished to obtain, for hsi fallen comrades

Lariet slide his sword in its sheath chuckling a bit. He finally had made it to the inn as was proud of himself for the fact of he no longer had the need of sleeping on sand like he thought he would have had to. Lariet walked into the inn donkey by his side as the people in the inn began to slowly leave as the inn owners eyes slide open.

"We don't offer services to THIEVES!"

"What are you talking about? I'm no thief.. I just need a room to sleep in.. I have money on my donkey what does it cost for a room?"

Lariet was a bit confused as he opened the big pouch of the bag on the donkey's side and threw some ryo at the inn owner and walked upstairs into his room and closed the door locking it pondering what the owner might have meant.

Kiyoshi had been going on for a while now. Still no sign of the elder Shinobi. Then, he saw Shinobi's leaving to what seemed to be an Inn. Why had they suddenly left all at once? It must of course been a stranger. He decided to check it out. He approached the Inn, walking into it. It was Ramiro-Sama's Hotel. One of a few Kiyoshi respected in the Village of Sand. He simply bowed his head as a act of respect. He in turn smiled at Kiyoshi and pointed at the stairs. Why though? Then he said, " Kiyoshi-kun, a stranger just walked into my Inn with his-- I assume animals. Left ryo on the desk and strolled up stairs, to room #306. Could you ple-- " He was cut short as Kiyoshi waved and walked upstairs as well. He didn't need anymore than that to know it had to be the elder shinobi. He walked through the hall way, walking past doors, till he finally arrived at door #306. He hesitated for a moment, then knocked.

(I'm assuming you collected the key to unlock the door ... so he would know ...)

Taven quickly followed Kiyoshi ensuring he kept to himself. He wanted to be silent and thus he quickly leapt to the roof tops of the sand village. Taven was truly becoing a ninja, he honestly felt slightly impressed in himself. Taven kept low on the roof outside the inn. He wished to wait and see how the other shinobi would converse and possibly fight. Taven was very very interested in the elder shinobi's talents and odd ways. A shinobi of his calibur had to know a thing or two, perhaps Taven could learn from the master. Taven strug some wire to a kunai and then double threaded it ensuring it wouldn't snap or break if weight were applied to it. Taven then began to spin it around in an extremely low circle just around his hand. He was kneeling and hiding in the shadows upon the roof.

Taven watched the room carefully. He was prepared to wait all night for the shinobi to do their little dance, so to speak. Taven felt like a hawk, this made him smile and he thought to himself I am like a bird of prey, the mighty hawk, the feared winged beast. I will wait and watch, then strike.... I am a hawk.... Taven gave a small laugh to his thoughts as he was clearly pleased. He reminded himself of his favorite animal, that was quite an accomplishment. Taven sat there swinging the kunai wire around himself. He was ready to launch it and swing over tot he room if needed. Taven set anothe rkunai on the ground and focused on setting a chakra string on it and kept onto it. Taven finally got this feature down and he was quite happy. He had managed to hold onto the kunai with a chakra string. He hoped to one day become a puppet master

The door crept opened with a slight creepy noise. Anyone who looked in could see that Lariet and his Donkey were nowhere to be seen. For in fact only a lone cow was in the room. Kiyoshi must have been confused madly for he had been beat this time. On the cow was a note saying "Ha Ha". as Kiyoshi entered the room the door slamed shut for there was a light trip rope infront of the entrance. If Kiyoshi fell for this the door would slam straight behind him. And loud laugh could be heard by the too shinobis. If they went to look around they would notice a hole carved into the left corner and if they followed that there would be a hole down. Eventually making a maze to a Out plan from the Inn. The Key was stabbed into the cow's ear.

"We got them good Huh you Jackass."

Lariet spoke to his donkey as they walked through the back entrance of the village without notice of the guards.

"This is rather annoying," Kiyoshi said in his naturally calm, care free voice once he saw nothing but a cow and the note as he stepped in. Then a loud laugh followed, which was slightly irritating to Kiyoshi's ears. Gazing around the room, he saw a hole carved into the left corner. What the hell was this guy trying to do? Was this his Idea of fun? If it was, it wasn't fun at all. It was actually, pretty immature. Kiyoshi sighed, approaching the hole. Kiyoshi sighed approaching the wall. Once close, he crept into it, and kept on going. Soon, he found himself outside the Inn. And he saw the elder guy, and his donkey, departing from where Kiyoshi stood.
Now, Kiyoshi was confused. How the hell did an animal like that crawl through that hole? This guy wasn't normal, and so was his animal. He trailed behind them.

Taven decided he had better go to train. He didn't want to be caught against something if he had absolutly no way to fight. Taven needed some money, and he needed some time... His first job would be the money that could be hard with no Kazekage to get the missions from... This proved most displeasing for him.
